goodbye my love.

There’s a time in life, where you have to say goodbye to your first love, the first love where you both would share each other’s thoughts and spend most of the time together, but usually you’re the one who ends up having to fix their problems and repair the relationship. You maybe thinking who am I talking about? Of course I am talking about my first love, packed from factories somewhere around Asia and shipped to Australia, he’s my first PC, my HP computer. I think my PC age is retiring soon, no it never had major problem, the only problem I had was with dust and viruses, but I don’t blame my PC, I blame Microsoft.

For 4 years we have been together, his graphic card was fine, but in this age of technology, he’s becoming a piece of shit towards me. His motherboard is falling behind the new players as well. I had to upgrade him with RAM because he just lags and lags for simple things, like installing new programs. I bought him a 500GB external HDD, he didn’t like my present and force me to forget where I put it and now I lost it since. I bought him Logitech X-530 Speakers but he decided to use only 2 out of the 5 he suppose to use. I remembered buying him for around $1400 which included insurance in case he injured himself, now he’s probably worth less than $150. He had 2 friends, the first was Samsung 17’ LCD monitor, less than 3 years later, Samsung blew up and didn’t want to communicate with him anymore. His other friend, currently still friends with; 19’ Fujitsu LCD monitor is still around hanging with him, but for how long? I’m thinking of introducing him to 22’ LG widescreen monitor, but I don’t think LG deserves to be tortured with HP’s old behaviour.

So by next year, I think our relationship is over, I’ll be handing him over to the garage, locked away in a box or something. I’m looking for someone else, someone who can challenge me to new obstacle of life. I’m thinking of building a new relationship with a new computer, and by no means I’ll probably build one from scratch by buying parts from here and there. And no, I will never fall in love with Mac, no matter how much savvy you look, your specs will forever not interest me, hell I don’t care about your price, it’s just most programs don’t even like coming near you. I’ll probably write down the description of who I am looking for.
