Architect Moon Hoon recently designed the Panorama House in Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea. One of the most unique features incorporated into the home is a wooden slide built directly into a library which also functions as a stair-stepped home theater seating area.

The “Full Moon” sideboard is a stunning piece of furniture created by designer Sotirios Papadopoulos and produced by EnneZero.
The “moon” on the furniture’s surface is a special luminous and ecological paint (ELI ecolightinside), which creates special effects in the dark.

K House is an impressive project created by Australian firm Ashton Raggatt McDougall.
The house was named after the first letter of the owners’ last name.
“The shape of the house and some items inside the home took the shape of the letter “K“. The facade is made with simple materials gray interiors look brighter, thanks to the large amount of painted surfaces with a cherry-red color.”

artist Jaume Plensa recently unveiled a giant new sculpture called Wonderland at the base of Calgary’s tallest tower, The Bow. The wire mesh piece stands 39 feet high and resembles a young girl’s head. (It was actually inspired by a real girl in Spain.) Interestingly, the sculpture has two entrances so that visitors can walk inside of it. “My vision for Wonderland is to inspire everyone who experiences the sculpture: I believe the architecture of our bodies is the palace for our dreams,” said Plensa.

Brazilian street artist Eduardo Kobra recently completed this gigantic 170 ft mural on Paulista Avenue, one of Sao Paulo’s busiest streets. The colourful piece is a tribute to Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, who passed away last December at the age of 104. Kobra and a team of four other artists worked six hours a day to complete the mural, and some of the colorful forms are based on Niemeyer’s works.
