Brazilian street artist Eduardo Kobra recently completed this gigantic 170 ft mural on Paulista Avenue, one of Sao Paulo’s busiest streets. The colourful piece is a tribute to Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, who passed away last December at the age of 104. Kobra and a team of four other artists worked six hours a day to complete the mural, and some of the colorful forms are based on Niemeyer’s works. Photographer Alan Teixeira is on the scene with these beautiful shots.

Sluggo has been appearing on sidewalks, walls and ledges since 2008, originally as a chalk drawing of a child that took a strange turn. He has since developed a widespread reputation as a semi-subterranean jack of few trades with flexible personal architecture and a fondness for flying pigs.
