This video will always give me shivers, not only because of the storm but myself being there when it happened, so you could say I was part of this history. Although where I stayed (Mid Manhattan) where there wasn’t as heavily affected, I couldn’t imagine what other areas were badly hit and think of those affected/killed, condolence to those who lost loved ones and those who survived but lost everything/damaged properties. I leave New York remembering not by the storm but what stood out is the courage and spirit of New Yorkers to get back to what things were after the storm hit, as an Australian, that’s what I like about Americans.

This commercial above which was aired in Australia from 1994 till on who the hell knows forever gave my childhood memories a dark side while growing up. To this day the whole song and the words to the song ring in my head, I can never ever get rid of the song in my mind, even when I eat a banana this song starts to play in my mind. I had to mute it because I’ll start singing to the song lol.
Anyone have some sort of childhood torture that can’t get rid of till this day? :)
